Same-Day Return to Mainland Puerto Rico (Ceiba)
If you plan to participate in our tour and return to the main island the same day, please read carefully:
π’ Only the earliest evening tour may allow enough time to return on the last ferry to Ceiba.
Later tours will not allow sufficient time to catch the final ferry departure.
Guests wishing to return the same day must contact us before booking so we can confirm that your selected tour aligns with the current Puerto Rico Ferry schedule.

Reservations are not eligible for cancellation or refund due to ferry schedule changes, missed transportation, or timing conflicts.
Unless you contact us in advance and receive written confirmation that your selected tour time allows same-day return, guests should plan to stay overnight in Vieques.
β° Seasonal Tour Schedule Adjustments

Beginning in March, tour departure times shift 30 minutes later due to daylight changes.

If you book a 6:30 PM tour, it will automatically operate at 7:00 PM.
β No action is required on your end. -
Beginning in September, departure times return to 6:30 PM.
All tour times remain subject to operational and seasonal adjustments.

Failure to coordinate ferry timing may result in an unexpected overnight stay.

The glow comes from microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates. When disturbed by movement, they emit a flash of blue-green light β a natural defense mechanism that creates the glowing effect.

Absolutely! All of our tours are led by certified, experienced guides and conducted with full safety measures. Life jackets are provided, and the bay is calm and shallow. Additionally, all of our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid to ensure the highest level of safety and preparedness during every tour.

Each tour lasts approximately 1.5, including safety orientation and time on the water.

No prior experience is needed. Our tours are beginner-friendly, and we offer guidance throughout the experience.

Comfortable clothing, water shoes, insect repellent (DEET-free), and a waterproof bag are recommended. We suggest avoiding light-colored clothing to better enjoy the glow!

The bioluminescence is brightest around the new moon, when the sky is darkest. We recommend booking during these dates for the best visibility.
