Everything You Need to Know

If you plan to participate in the tour and return to the main island (Puerto Rico) on the same day, please note the following:
🗓️ Monday through Friday:
You must book either the 6:30 PM or 7:30 PM tour to catch the last ferry back to Ceiba.🗓️ Saturday and Sunday:
Only the 6:30 PM tour will allow you to return to the main island the same night.Please coordinate your transportation with us in advance, and contact us ahead of time to confirm that your selected tour meets the minimum participant requirement.
Failure to coordinate these details may result in an unexpected overnight stay in Vieques, as later ferry options may not be available.

Do not wait until after the tour departs — this will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.⚠️ Important:
- All tours require a minimum of 8 participants to operate.
- Ferry tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets often sell out early and may cause you to miss your tour if not secured ahead of time.
- For the latest weather conditions or tour cancellations, we strongly recommend contacting us before traveling.
Look for our bright yellow short school bus—you can’t miss it! Our friendly team will be there to welcome you and assist with check-in.

The glow comes from microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates. When disturbed by movement, they emit a flash of blue-green light — a natural defense mechanism that creates the glowing effect.

Absolutely! All of our tours are led by certified, experienced guides and conducted with full safety measures. Life jackets are provided, and the bay is calm and shallow. Additionally, all of our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid to ensure the highest level of safety and preparedness during every tour.

Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, including safety orientation and time on the water.

No prior experience is needed. Our tours are beginner-friendly, and we offer guidance throughout the experience.

Comfortable clothing, water shoes, insect repellent, and a waterproof bag are recommended. We suggest avoiding light-colored clothing to better enjoy the glow!

The bioluminescence is brightest around the new moon, when the sky is darkest. We recommend booking during these dates for the best visibility.
