• Beach Shoes: Comfortable and suitable for walking on sand or rocky areas.
• Towels: For drying off after snorkeling or kayaking.

Extras and Snorkel Tips

• Eyewear: If you wear glasses, consider wearing contacts for a better fit with the snorkel mask. Let us know in advance if anyone in your group needs a prescription mask.
• Facial Hair: Mustache hair may cause the snorkel mask to leak. Shaving before the tour is recommended for the best experience.
• Kids’ Comfort: Children often feel colder than adults in the water—bring rash guards or water-friendly clothing to keep them comfortable.

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. Please review the following health and safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and memorable experience:

1. Swimming Ability:
   Participants should be confident swimmers and snorkelers, especially when exploring the reef areas.
2. Physical Readiness:
   This tour involves kayaking and snorkeling, which require moderate physical activity. If you have any medical conditions, consult with your healthcare provider before participating.
3. Life Jackets:
   Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while kayaking for your safety.
4. Hydration and Sun Protection:
   Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun and stay hydrated during the tour.
5. Proper Attire:
   Wear comfortable swimwear and water shoes or sandals suitable for kayaking and snorkeling.
6. Weather Conditions:
   Tours may be subject to change or cancellation based on weather conditions. Safety always comes first.
7. Marine Life Respect:
   While snorkeling, observe marine life from a safe distance and avoid touching corals or disturbing wildlife.
8. Equipment Care:
   Handle all provided equipment, including kayaks, paddles, and snorkel gear, with care to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Mosquito Biobay Tours LLC — Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

How timing is calculated: All timeframes are based on the scheduled check-in time for your tour and local time in Vieques, Puerto Rico (AST).

A) Standard
bookings (1–10 guests)

48 hours or more before the tour: Full refund or free reschedule.

Between 48 and 24 hours before the tour: 50% refund; rescheduling based on availability.

Less than 24 hours before the tour: Non-refundable; rescheduling may be offered at management’s discretion.

No-shows: No refund and no reschedule (no exceptions).

B) Group bookings (11+ guests)

7 days or more before the tour date: Full refund or free reschedule.

Less than 7 days before the tour date: Non-refundable; rescheduling may be offered at management’s discretion and subject to availability.

This 7-day group policy supersedes the standard 48/24-hour timeline above.

C) Weather & safety

If we cancel due to weather or conditions beyond our control, you may reschedule or receive a full refund. Determinations about weather/safety cancellations are made by Mosquito Biobay Tours to protect guest safety and tour quality.

D) Minimum participant requirement

Our tours require a minimum of 10 confirmed participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, we may reschedule your tour to another available date/time or offer an alternative experience, depending on availability. We will notify you in advance if an adjustment is needed.

E) Ferry tickets

Guests are responsible for securing ferry tickets. We are not responsible if you are unable to obtain ferry tickets; please secure them before booking with us.

F) Refund method

Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
